I wanted to take this opportunity to highlight a wonderful article detailing the historical evidence for Jesus’s birth on December 25th. My previous article highlighted the practical reasons for not refusing to celebrate Christmas, and I was hoping to dive into the historical reasons, but there’s a surprising amount of evidence and it’s time-consuming to assemble. Luckily, Josh Robinson already did it in his article!
So if Jesus really was born on December 25th, why in the world would a bunch of internet atheists want to convince you that Christmas was a pagan holiday? Hopefully, the answer is obvious. Don’t fall for that stuff. Do your own research.
